Waste management issues at the community level remain a serious challenge due to manual management systems, low implementation of the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R) principles, and minimal community participation and collaboration. These conditions have resulted in waste accumulation, increased workload for Integrated Waste Management Facilities (TPST), and environmental disturbances. This study aims to analyze community-based waste management through the implementation of the ReArt Smart Waste program as an innovative effort that integrates digital education, community building, and an economic incentive platform. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving six key informants consisting of village officials, neighborhood association (RT) heads, community association (RW) heads, and community representatives. Data analysis was conducted thematically with the help of NVivo software. The results of the study show that the implementation of ReArt Smart Waste can increase public awareness and participation in waste sorting at the source, strengthen collaboration between the community and TPST, and reduce the burden of waste management. This program also encourages the emergence of economic benefits from recycling activities. This study concludes that community-based waste management integrated with digital innovation has great potential to create a more effective and sustainable waste management system at the local level.
