Peningkatan Produktivitas Umkm Melalui Penerapan Pengelolaan Keuangan Sederhana Di Desa Cibeureum Kecamatan Kertasari Kabupaten Bandung

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, particularly in Cibeureum Village, play a crucial role in the economy. However, many MSME operators have not managed their finances effectively. This community service activity aims to enhance MSME operators' understanding of simple accounting through training focused on financial management. The methods employed include introducing basic accounting concepts and practical exercises in creating simple financial statements. The subjects of this activity are MSME operators in Cibeureum Village, selected based on their need for improved financial management. The results of the training indicate an increased understanding among participants regarding the importance of financial record-keeping, with most participants able to produce more accurate financial statements post-training. These findings emphasize that a better understanding of accounting significantly impacts their financial management, with many participants reporting more effective management and increased business profits. In conclusion, the simple accounting training has proven effective in enhancing the financial performance of MSMEs in Cibeureum Village, contributing positively to the sustainability and development of their enterprises.
