Utilization of organic waste into compost is one of the effective solutions in overcoming waste problems and maintaining environmental sustainability. Organic waste, such as food scraps, leaves, and other organic materials, has great potential to be recycled into compost, which can improve soil fertility and support sustainable agriculture. The composting process involves the decomposition of organic materials by microorganisms under controlled conditions. The results of the study showed that compost from organic waste not only reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, but also plays an important role in improving soil quality and reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers. Thus, managing organic waste into compost can be one of the strategic steps in achieving environmental and economic sustainability.
